two stages. The first stage is to construct a 1.8m fence at a 2.8m metres distance from<br />

the base <strong>of</strong> the tree along the edge <strong>of</strong> the existing pool line and to a 9.0m radius in both<br />

directions, encompassing Tree #2 and the Jacaranda #1 on the high side. Once the<br />

fence has been constructed, demolition <strong>of</strong> the swimming pool can proceed ensuring that<br />

the tree receives ample protection during the demolition <strong>of</strong> the pool.<br />

Following the demolition works the fence shall be relocated to a distance <strong>of</strong> 5.0 metres<br />

on the trees western side.<br />

The fill left at the base <strong>of</strong> the tree as a consequence <strong>of</strong> the pools construction should be<br />

removed and the soil level reinstated to close to original grade. This is to be done under<br />

the direct supervision <strong>of</strong> the site Arborist to ensure roots are not exposed during the<br />

removal <strong>of</strong> the waste fill.<br />
