NOTICE OF MOTION<br />
ACQUISITION/LEASE OF PUBLIC LAND BY ST IVES VILLAGE<br />
SHOPPING CENTRE<br />
Notice <strong>of</strong> Motion from <strong>Council</strong>lor L Bennett dated 6 <strong>February</strong> <strong>2007</strong>.<br />
I move that:<br />
A Report come to <strong>Council</strong> on the content <strong>of</strong> all discussions held in the term <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Council</strong><br />
between staff/consultants and the St Ives Shopping Village on the acquisition/lease by the<br />
Shopping Village <strong>of</strong> public land including (but not limited to):<br />
(a)<br />
(b)<br />
(c)<br />
(d)<br />
(e)<br />
Shopping Village/<strong>Council</strong> proposals for the sale/lease <strong>of</strong> public land (broken down by<br />
DP number) and any responses to such proposals.<br />
An explanation <strong>of</strong> why the content <strong>of</strong> these discussions was not reported to<br />
<strong>Council</strong>/<strong>Council</strong>lors.<br />
An explanation <strong>of</strong> why <strong>Council</strong> holds no records <strong>of</strong> these discussions on TRIM.<br />
An explanation <strong>of</strong> why no disclosure <strong>of</strong> these discussions was made to the Independent<br />
Hearing on Community Lands for St Ives.<br />
and the Report come to a <strong>Council</strong> meeting held before the meeting which considers the<br />
issue <strong>of</strong> the reclassification <strong>of</strong> community land in St Ives. This will enable an informed<br />
debate on the issue <strong>of</strong> reclassification.<br />
RECOMMENDATION<br />
That the above Notice <strong>of</strong> Motion as printed be adopted.<br />
