69. The trees to be retained shall be inspected, monitored and treated when necessary by a<br />

qualified Arborist before, during and after completion <strong>of</strong> development works to ensure their<br />

long term survival. Regular inspections and documentation from the Arborist to the Principal<br />

Certifying Authority are required at the following times or phases <strong>of</strong> work.<br />

Time <strong>of</strong> inspection<br />

Prior to demolition<br />

At the completion <strong>of</strong> demolition<br />

Prior to excavation works<br />

At the completion <strong>of</strong> excavation works<br />

Prior to the start <strong>of</strong> construction works<br />

At monthly intervals during construction<br />

At the completion <strong>of</strong> construction works<br />

At the completion <strong>of</strong> all works on site<br />

70. Canopy pruning <strong>of</strong> the following tree/s which may be necessary to accommodate the<br />

approved building footprint shall be undertaken by an experienced Arborist/Horticulturist,<br />

with a minimum qualification <strong>of</strong> the Horticulture Certificate or Tree Surgery Certificate. All<br />

other branches are to be tied back and protected during construction as recommended in the<br />

arborist report, under the supervision <strong>of</strong> a qualified arborist.<br />
