The site is suitable for the proposed development.

The approval of the application is considered to be in the public interest.
OTHER RELEVANT MATTERS
There are no other matters for consideration.
CONCLUSION
Having regard to the provisions of Section 79C of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act
1979, the proposed development is considered to be satisfactory. Therefore, it is recommended that
the application be approved.
RECOMMENDATION
Pursuant to Section 80(1) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979
THAT the Council, as the consent authority, grant development consent to DA 826/06 for
demolition of two dwelling houses and construction of a residential flat building on land at 20-22
Tryon Road, Lindfield, for a period of two (2) years from the date of the Notice of Determination,
subject to the following conditions:
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. The development must be carried out in accordance with plans identified within the following
table and endorsed with Council’s approval stamp, except where amended by the following
conditions:
