To simplify the process of addressing and configuring Copper-Rocket IADs, the CE150 is able to exchange information withthem through both CMCP and DHCP messages. The Plug andPlay feature eliminates the need for users or administrators toconfigure CopperRocket IADs locally. 3ODQQLQJ+',$'DWDDQG9RLFH6XEQHWVHigh Density Internet Access (HDIA) uses an encapsulationtype of IP-1490 on its DSL voice VCs and an encapsulation typeof RFC-1483 on its DSL data VCs.Multiple voice groups and multiple data groups are permissible.Different voice gateways located at different places can servedifferent voice groups; different ISPs or enterprise routers locatedat different places can serve different data groups.In the following example, the focus is on IADs whose voice VCsbelong to a single voice group and whose data VCs belong to asingle data group. The data VCs on the DSL links have addresseson the same subnet as their router.
