1 2 7 (A green-lit Ethernet LED is not a signal that the CE150 is connectedto or communicating with a live Ethernet network; the LED turnsgreen by default, whether or not the port is actually connected. The CE Internal Data LED indicates data activity internal to theCE150 itself. The state of this LED does not correspond to thestatus of the system. At any time, the Internal Data LED maybe off, blinking, pulsing, or solidly green. On the System Control Module panel, the Network and PacketComm LEDs beside the modem port indicate data traffic. TheNetwork indicator turns or flickers green when Ethernet datapackets are transmitted by the CE150. The Packet Comm indicatorturns or flickers green when Ethernet data packets are receivedby the CE150.On the System Control Module-3 panel, the Ethernet port hastwo LEDs: a single Transmit/Receive Data LED and a Data LinkIntegrity LED. The Transmit/Receive Data LED indicates datatraffic. It turns or flickers yellow when data is received or transmittedon the Ethernet line. The Data Link Integrity LED turnsgreen when the integrity of the Ethernet link for 10BASE-T or100BASE-TX is acceptable.Modem IndicatorsOn the System Control Module, the four LEDs for the modemport indicate two things: handshaking between the sending andreceiving terminals; and the actual sending and receiving of data. The LEDs for Data Communications Detect (DCD] and DataTerminal Ready [DTR] start flickering during handshaking andthen turn a steady green when sending or receiving data. TheLEDs for Received [RXD} and Transmitted (TXD) turn green forthe duration of receiving or transmitted data. The modem is set to automatically answer on the second ring. However, it will take longer to answer when it is trying to reconnectafter a disconnection—it cannot answer on the second ringbecause it is still busy disconnecting from the previous session.Craft Port IndicatorsThe single LEDs for the Local Craft port will turn yellow as soonas a cable has been attached and the System Control Moduledetects a device on the other end.&RSSHU(GJH,QVWDOODWLRQDQG2SHUDWLQJ*XLGH
