This section contains instructions <strong>for</strong> querying and configuringthe CE<strong>150</strong> as part of the installation process.$FFHVVLQJWKH&(You can log in to the CE<strong>150</strong> using the Command Line Interface(CLI) or the Graphical User Interface (GUI):• You can use CopperView or some other SNMP-basedNMS to remotely configure the CE<strong>150</strong>.• You can use a LAN and a telnet session to access the CLIto remotely configure the CE<strong>150</strong>.• You can use a terminal (or terminal emulator) to theCraft serial port on the SCM front panel and then employthe CLI to configure the CE<strong>150</strong> on site.To access the CopperCraft command line interface (the CLI)through your PC COM port, use Hyperterminal or an equivalentterminal emulation application. Set the serial port rate to 9600bps, 8-N-1 (8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit). If you want to useflow control, choose the hardware (RTS/CTS) settings.CE<strong>150</strong> installation, on-site verification, and establishment ofupstream data links are normally done using the CopperCraftinterface, either through direct connection method or throughTelnet.
