Analog Modem PortConnect the telephone cord (with RJ-11 connectors on eachend) between the telephone outlet and the modem port on theCE<strong>150</strong>. Note the four LEDs adjacent to the modem port. Thepair on top are green when the modem is training. The pair onthe bottom are green when the modem is receiving and transmitting.The Craft and Modem ports share the same circuitry and cannotbe operated simultaneously. The Craft port takes precedence:if the two are in operation at the same time, the Craftport will function and the Modem port will not.The modem is set to automatically answer on the second ring.However, it will take longer to answer when it is trying to reconnectafter a disconnection—it cannot answer on the second ringbecause it is still busy disconnecting from the previous session.&KDSWHU,QVWDOODWLRQ
