Use standard 25-pair cables of a length to connectthe CE<strong>150</strong> to your 66 blocks or other terminal point.1 2 7 (The CE<strong>150</strong> is designed <strong>for</strong> installation in facilities that provide overvoltageprotection on the subscriber loops. This protection should begreater than or equivalent to that provided by three millimeter gapcarbon blocks.& $ 8 7 , 2 1Use only waxed nylon string or nylon cable ties threaded through thewhite cable tie brackets to secure the attached amphenol connectorsin place (in addition to the screw on the connector). If you use othertypes of attachment hardware, take care that they do not contact theCE<strong>150</strong> backplane circuitry, and that cables are held securely in place.Damage resulting from use of non-standard hardware may not becovered by the warranty.The CE<strong>150</strong>’s Line module slots are filled at the factory in ascendingslot-number order.
