Delivery Documents
The third parameter is the item category usage. This indicator provides information
on the process you are planning for this material. The value comes directly from
the process in the SAP system and is not stored in the master data. Table 5.3 shows
the most important item category usages.

The last parameter is the item category itself. It refers to the item category of the
superordinate item. If a subitem must be created in the delivery document (a
delivery item with a batch, for example), it always refers to a superordinate item.
Based on the item category set in the superordinate item, the SAP system searches
for the item category of the subitem during the category determination process.
