14 Shipment Status want to do so, there are two options available: You either carry out goods issue posting immediately (Carry out goods issue posting during save radio button) or via a batch job (Carry out goods issue posting in background radio button). In the latter case, you have to create a variant for this batch job (see Figure 14.6). If the variant is created for Program RV56BPGI, refer to Section 5.3.3. Here, batch variant maintenance is described in greater detail. Creating batch variants should, in some cases, be coordinated <strong>with</strong> your system administrators. Additional functions are available, for example, trigger billing. For this purpose, check the Carry out billing checkbox. If you want to generate delivery items for your packaging materials and means of transport (because you manage stocks), check Generate delivery item for HUs. You have comprehensive options for handling output. You can generate specific output types when you have set a specific status (see Figure 14.7). These outputs may relate to: EE EE EE EE Shipment; shipment outputs always relate to the entire shipment and cannot be defined for each stage. Click on the icon to generate several output types (see Figure 14.8). In the Transmission Medium field you have to enter whether this is a Print output (“1”), an EDI output (“6”), or a Special function (“8”, for example, IDoc processing. In the Processing mode field you have to enter how the output is supposed to be processed. A “1” indicates that the output is directly processed after saving the shipment document. This must be the first processing, that is, no re-processing. “2” indicates that the output is supposed to be repeated. “3” indicates that an incorrect output is supposed to be repeated.
