We will start with a simple route without any special features, such as preliminary leg, subsequent leg, sections, or route schedules, which is discussed later. I will also not discuss the specification of times required for shipment scheduling yet. As I will repeatedly refer to the route in the subsequent sections, I will then introduce you to other settings you can make. In the example of the Munich brewery, there were previously prepared routes for Munich as well as for Augsburg, Ingolstadt, Salzburg, and the rest of Austria. Routes 5.6 For the initial creation or maintenance of routes, you must perform the following steps: 1. In order to maintain these routes, start Transaction 0VTC or select the following path in the SAP menu: Logistics • Logistics Execution • Master Data • Transportation • Routes • Define Routes • Define Routes and Stages.
