Stor. location When entering the standard order, you have the option to specify from which storage location the ordered items should be picked and delivered. The actual storage location determination does not take place until creation of the delivery. Shipping Point The shipping point indicates at what point in your company shipping should take place. Shipping point determination is described in Section 5.5. Route Here you can find the route. Detailed information about this is provided in Section 5.6. Part.div./item If you want this item in a delivery to be delivered completely, you must set the appropriate flag, otherwise, the SAP system may split this item into several deliveries. This splitting is based on the availability of materials. Max.Part.Deliv. If you have allowed partial delivery for this item, you can specify the maximum number of partial deliveries here. Sales Orders 4.1 EE your own information regarding shipping processing. However, this information serves the same purpose as that in the header data. Delivery tolerance You can specify delivery tolerances due to availability problems or separate agreements with the customer. If you allow no tolerance, the delivered amount must correspond exactly with the order amount. If you allow tolerances, you must specify how much you may deviate upward and downward. As you have already seen in the context of header data, the Partners and Texts tabs also exist at item level. Here you can enter different partners. You must determine with your organization whether this is at all sensible in your case. This gives you delivery splits, because a special delivery must be created for each ship-to party. The texts at the item level are identical with the texts at the header level with regard to the system structure; however, there are different text types for the items. The following texts are available in the standard SAP system: a packaging instruction (e.g., “Please pack this item in only two layers on the pallet.”), which can be printed out on the picking instructions, and a delivery text (e.g., “Please give the pallet to Mr. Smith, phone: 1234.”). Shipping-Specific Data in the Schedule Line A very important tab at the item level is Schedule lines. Here, you can see when the item in the standard order is due for delivery (see Figure 4.11). Depending on the result of the availability check, the delivery date can differ from the specified delivery date (date at which the ship-to party would like to have the goods).
