The delivery document is created in the next step. Start Transaction VL01N and
enter sales order “11329.” The overview screen shown in Figure 6.47 is displayed.
The icon in the Batch Split ID column indicates that the system has successfully
performed batch determination.

Click the icon, and the system displays the subitems it has created along with the
batches it has found. To return to the overview screen, click the icon.
You can view an even better overview if you highlight the desired item in the
overview (see Figure 6.47) and click the
button. You should now
see a screen (see Figure 6.48) with detailed information on the batches themselves.
The system has followed your sample settings and found the newest batch, batch
number OGC003. Only 204 bottles were available from that batch. The remaining
order quantity of 1,360 bottles was filled with the older batch, OGC001.
