Overige overwegingenDe belangrijkste componenten van psychosociale begeleiding rond genetische diagnostiekzijn optimale voorlichting en communicatie, ondersteuning bij de interpretatie van risico’s enbij communicatie daarover met de familie, het inschatten van aanwezige psychosocialeproblematiek en van risico’s op het ontstaan van psychosociale problematiek in de toekomst.Deze inschatting zou systematisch dienen te gebeuren, bijvoorbeeld aan de hand van eenchecklist. In geval van complexe psychosociale problematiek kan dan verwijzing voorgespecialiseerde begeleiding plaatsvinden.De psychosociale zorg kan op verschillende niveaus verleend worden: door de behandelendspecialist (zoals de klinisch geneticus en de MDL-arts), door de huisarts, door de eerstelijnsmaatschappelijk werker/psycholoog en door de gespecialiseerde psychosocialehulpverlening in de klinisch genetische centra/poliklinieken familiaire tumoren.Verwijzing naar een gespecialiseerde psychosociale hulpverlener met ervaring in hetbehandelen van problematiek rond erfelijke tumoren en DNA-diagnostiek moet in ieder(e)klinisch genetisch centrum/ polikliniek familiaire tumoren mogelijk zijn.AanbevelingenBasis psychosociale begeleiding rond genetische diagnostiek dient onderdeel te zijn van dezorg verleend door de huisarts en door de in de centra betrokken hulpverleners.Inschatting van mogelijke psychosociale problematiek dient op systematische wijze tegebeuren, bijvoorbeeld aan de hand van een checklist waarin risicofactoren zijn verwerkt.Bij een hoog risico op of in geval van het ontstaan van psychosociale problematiek rondgenetische diagnostiek dient een verwijzing naar een maatschappelijk werker of psycholoogplaats te vinden met ervaring op dit gebied.Verwijzing naar een gespecialiseerde psychosociale hulpverlener met ervaring in deproblematiek rond erfelijkheidsonderzoek en DNA-diagnostiek moet in ieder(e) klinischgenetisch centrum of polikliniek familiaire tumoren mogelijk zijn.Literatuur1.
