AanbevelingenBij darmvoorbereiding voor een colonoscopie kan natriumfosfaat (NaP) 2 x 45 ml (+ ruimehoeveelheid heldere vloeistof; tenminste 3 liter) of 4 liter polyethyleen glycol (PEG) gebruiktworden.Alvorens NaP voor te schrijven dient het bestaan van contra-indicaties voor dit preparaatuitgesloten te worden. Indien contra-indicaties aanwezig zijn, is PEG de voorbereiding vankeuze.De voorbereiding kan het beste verdeeld worden over twee dagen, over de dag voor en dedag van de colonoscopie. Dit geldt zowel voor NaP als voor PEG.De mogelijkheden voor sedatie, pijnbestrijding en darmvoorbereiding dienen vooraf teworden besproken met de patiënt (zie ook de richtlijn sedatie buiten het OK complex).Literatuur1.
