Priest Paul Akimovich Kotelnikov was born in 1890 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Lenino in Lipetsk district, Lipetsk province. He was serving in <strong>the</strong> church <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Mazeika (now in Dobrinsky district, Lipetsk province). On<br />

August 10, 1928 he was condemned by <strong>the</strong> OGPU in accordance with article<br />

58-10, and sentenced to three years exile in <strong>the</strong> Urals.<br />

The clergyman Michael Ivanovich Konusov was born in 1887 in Penza<br />

province. On October 2, 1929 he was sentenced in accordance with article 58-<br />

10 to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Priest Demetrius Nikolayevich Drozdov was born in 1890 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

B. Khomutets, Dobrovsky region, Lipetsk province, where he also lived. In<br />

1929 he was arrested, and on December 25 was sentenced in accordance with<br />

article 58-10 part 2 to ten years’ imprisonment. Nothing more is known about<br />

him.<br />

During his investigation, Hieromonk Seraphim (Borisov) said: “A series <strong>of</strong><br />

churches in <strong>the</strong> former Penza province joined <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church. I<br />

heard about this from Deacon Fr. Alexander, I’ve forgotten his surname, he<br />

arrived in Leningrad and served in <strong>the</strong> church <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Resurrection. Then he<br />

went to Penza. In 1930 he was arrested...”<br />

Priest Andrew Dmitrievich Zamyatin was born in 1867 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Krutoye, Lipetsk uyezd, and served in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Lebyazhye, Dobrovsky<br />

region, Lipetsk province. On March 17, 1930 he was sentenced in accordance<br />

with articles 58-10 and 58-11 to five years’ imprisonment. Nothing more is<br />

known about him.<br />

Priest Alexander Alexandrovich Kotelnikov was born in 1906 in <strong>the</strong><br />

village <strong>of</strong> Lenino, Lipetsk region, and served in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Bereznegovatka,<br />

Dobrinsky region, Lipetsk province. In 1930 he was arrested, and on<br />

September 26 he was sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment in accordance<br />

with articles 58-10 part 2 and 58-11. Nothing more is known about him.<br />
