August 19 he was sent to a camp. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Ivan Emelyanovich Rogozhin was born in 1867 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Puyalka,<br />

Orshansk uyezd, where he lived as a free peasant. He owned a creamery, for<br />

which he was disenfranchised. In October, 1929 he was arrested for being “a<br />

participant in a counter-revolutionary group <strong>of</strong> clergy and believers, <strong>the</strong><br />

followers <strong>of</strong> Bishop Victor (Ostrovidov)”, and on January 13, 1930 was<br />

sentenced to three years’ exile and sent to Arkhangelsk. Nothing more is<br />

known about him.<br />

Theodore Antonovich Vasenev was born in 1882 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Pizhanka, Orshansk uyezd, where he lived as a free peasant. In October, 1929<br />

he was arrested for being “a participant in a counter-revolutionary group <strong>of</strong><br />

clergy and believers, followers <strong>of</strong> Bishop Victor (Ostrovidov)”, and on<br />

January 13, 1930 was sentenced to six months in prison, and was released. On<br />

January 21, 1935 he was arrested again and sentenced to five years’ exile and<br />

sent to <strong>the</strong> north. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Ivan Mikhailovich Shabalin was born in 1870 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Yershi,<br />

Sernur uyezd, where he lived as a free peasant and a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> church<br />

council. On December 12, 1929 he was arrested for being “a participant in a<br />

counter-revolutionary group <strong>of</strong> clergy and believers attached to <strong>the</strong><br />

‘Victorites’”, and on February 27, 1930 was sentenced to two years in <strong>the</strong><br />

camps conditionally. He was released. On March 22, 1939 he was arrested<br />

again and sentenced to eight years in <strong>the</strong> camps and sent to a camp. Nothing<br />

more is known about him.<br />

Alexis Ivanovich Otmakhov was born in 1862 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Yelembayevo, Novotoryalsk uyezd, Nizhegorod province into a peasant<br />

family, and received an elementary education. He was a free peasant and a<br />

member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> church council. On December 14, 1929 he was arrested for<br />

being “a participant in <strong>the</strong> counter-revolutionary monarchist organization, <strong>the</strong><br />

‘Victorites’”, and on February 19, 1930 was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong><br />

camps and sent to a camp. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Praskovya Gerasimovna Protasova was born in 1881 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Gusevo, Orshansk uyezd, where she lived as a housewife. In October, 1929<br />

she was arrested for being “a participant in a counter-revolutionary group <strong>of</strong><br />

clergy and believers, <strong>the</strong> followers <strong>of</strong> Bishop Victor (Ostrovidov)”. On<br />

January 13, 1930 she was sentenced to three years’ exile and sent to<br />

Arkhangelsk. Nothing more is known about her.<br />
