Priest Demetrius Vasilyevich Kozhevnikov. He was born in 1882 in<br />

Samara, and served in a church in Samara. In October, 1931 he was arrested<br />

for being “a participant in <strong>the</strong> Samara branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> counter-revolutionary<br />

monarchist church organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church”, and on April 13,<br />

1932 he was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps, commuted to exile for <strong>the</strong><br />

same period, and was sent to <strong>the</strong> north. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Priest Benjamin Ivanovich Nemertsanov. He was born in 1871 in <strong>the</strong><br />

village <strong>of</strong> Andreyevo, Samara province, and served in a church in Samara. On<br />

November 23, 1930 he was arrested, but was released on January 26, 1931. In<br />

<strong>the</strong> autumn <strong>of</strong> 1932 (1931?) he was arrested for being “a participant in <strong>the</strong><br />

Samara branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> counter-revolutionary monarchist church organization,<br />

<strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church”, and on April 13 he was sentenced to five years’<br />

exile and sent to <strong>the</strong> north. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Priest Nicholas Alexeyevich Nikiforov. He was born in 1869 in Samara<br />

province, and served in a church in Samara. In October, 1931 he was arrested<br />

branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> counter-revolutionary monarchist church organization, <strong>the</strong> True<br />

<strong>Orthodox</strong> Church”, and was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps and sent to<br />

a camp. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Priest Nicholas Konstantinovich Smirnov. He was born in 1880 in <strong>the</strong><br />

village <strong>of</strong> Kormaly-Ivanovka, Orenburg province, and served in a church in<br />

Samara. On November 10, 1931 he was arrested for being “a participant in <strong>the</strong><br />

Samara branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> counter-revolutionary monarchist church organization,<br />

<strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church”, and on April 13, 1932 was sentenced to three<br />

years in <strong>the</strong> camps and sent to a camp. In 1935 he was released and returned<br />

to Samara. On November 30, 1937 he was arrested, and on December 21 was<br />

sentenced to death. On January 14, 1938 he was shot.<br />
