Priest Vladimir Perfilyevich (?) Dubrovin was <strong>the</strong> rector <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Pokrov<br />

ca<strong>the</strong>dral in <strong>the</strong> city <strong>of</strong> Kuznetsk, Saratov province. In <strong>the</strong> summer <strong>of</strong> 1919 he<br />

was shot toge<strong>the</strong>r with o<strong>the</strong>r priests in Kuznetsk.<br />

Priest Alexis Ivanovich Razumov was born in 1871 in <strong>the</strong> family <strong>of</strong> Priest<br />

Ivan Fyodorovich Razumov in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Yulovo, Karsunsky uyezd (now<br />

Inzensky region). In 1893 he finished a complete science course at <strong>the</strong><br />

Simbirsk <strong>the</strong>ological seminary, and on December 22, 1893 he was ordained as<br />

deacon <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Kabayevo, Alatyr uyezd, by Bishop Barsonuphius. On<br />

May 9, 1895 he was ordained as priest <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> church <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Archangel Michael<br />

in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Vyazovka, Sengileyevsky uyezd (now Mainsky region). On<br />

March 2, 1900 he was transferred to <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Kitovka, Karsunsky uyezd<br />

(now <strong>the</strong> town <strong>of</strong> Inza), where he served in <strong>the</strong> church <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Nativity <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Mo<strong>the</strong>r <strong>of</strong> God until his death in 1918. From 1895 Fr. Alexis was teacher <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Law <strong>of</strong> God in a land school, and was also headmaster and teacher <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Law<br />

<strong>of</strong> God in a church school from 1907. He was also trustee <strong>of</strong> a labourers'<br />

farmstead which was under <strong>the</strong> main trusteeship <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Empress Alexandra<br />

Fyodorovna, for which Her Majesty thanked him on September 9, 1899. In<br />

1901 he was given <strong>the</strong> blessing <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Holy Synod for his zealous aid to <strong>the</strong><br />

population suffering from a fire. He was married to <strong>the</strong> daughter <strong>of</strong> a priest,<br />

Elizabeth Nikolayevna Pisareva (1877-1943) and had eight children.<br />

Fr. Alexis perished toge<strong>the</strong>r with his youngest son Nicholas (born 1911)<br />

from a bomb thrown by Red Army soldiers through <strong>the</strong> window <strong>of</strong> his house.<br />

He was buried in <strong>the</strong> Kitovo cemetery.<br />

Priest John Ilyinsky <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Sh... was shot by unknown people in 1918 in<br />

<strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Nikolsk. He had been accused <strong>of</strong> counter-revolution, but <strong>the</strong> Simbirsk<br />

revolutionary tribunal admitted in 1919 that <strong>the</strong>re was no evidence for that.<br />

Deacon Peter Grigoryevich Petrovsky and Reader Nikolayev were shot on March<br />

3/16, 1919 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Repyevka-Ksomynka.<br />

Fr. Peter was born in 1855 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Annenkovo, Simbirsk uyezd<br />

(now Annenkovo, Stepnoye Tsilinsky region), in <strong>the</strong> family <strong>of</strong> a junior deacon.<br />

He completed his studies as <strong>the</strong> Simbirsk <strong>the</strong>ological school, after which he<br />

became a novice in <strong>the</strong> Hierarchical House (<strong>the</strong> former Pokrovsky monastery)<br />

in Simbirsk. On November 29, 1872 he was appointed junior deacon for <strong>the</strong><br />

small town <strong>of</strong> Yushansk, Simbirsk uyezd (now <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Yushanskoye,<br />

Mainsky region). On May 11, 1875, for an incorrect handing out <strong>of</strong> two birth-<br />
