Orenburg Domzak. On March 26, 1931 he was convicted <strong>of</strong> “being a member<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> counter-revolutionary organization, ‘The Trues’” and <strong>of</strong> “conducting<br />

anti-collective farm agitation”. In accordance with articles 58-10, 58-11 and 59-<br />

7, he was sentenced to three years in <strong>the</strong> camps conditionally. Nothing more<br />

is known about him.<br />

Theodore Petrovich Kharchenko. He was born in April, 1867 in <strong>the</strong> village<br />

<strong>of</strong> Belovodskoye, Sumsky uyezd, Kharkov province. He was married to Maria,<br />

and had a son and two daughters. Until 1920 he lived in Verkhnyaya kazarma,<br />

working as a bee-keeper. Then he moved to <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Boldyrevka,<br />

Kashirinsky region. In 1930 he was dekulakized and disenfranchised. On<br />

January 18, 1931 he was arrested in Boldyrevka and cast into Orenburg<br />

Domzak. On March 26, 1931 he was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps in<br />

accordance with articles 58-10, 58-11 and 59-7. This sentence was commuted to<br />

<strong>the</strong> same period <strong>of</strong> exile in <strong>the</strong> north. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Theodore Tr<strong>of</strong>imovich Babich. He was born in August, 1880 in <strong>the</strong> village<br />

<strong>of</strong> Bubnovka, Poltava province into a peasant family. He finished two classes<br />

in <strong>the</strong> village school. He was married to Pelagia (born 1880) and had three<br />

sons. On November 3, 1930 he was arrested in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Pletnevka,<br />

Sharlyksky region and cast into Orenburg Domzak. On March 26, 1931 he was<br />

sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps in accordance with articles 58-10, 58-11<br />

and 59-7. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Basil Nikolayevich Bazanov. He was born in 1875 in <strong>the</strong> settlement <strong>of</strong><br />

Novo-Spassky, Pokrovsky region and served as a private in <strong>the</strong> tsarist army in<br />

1916. He was married to Arina and had a daughter. In 1930 he was<br />

dekulakized. On December 7, 1930 he was arrested and cast into Orenburg<br />

Domzak. He was accused <strong>of</strong> “not handing over reserves <strong>of</strong> bread” and<br />

sentenced to three years’ imprisonment in accordance with article 61. On<br />

March 26, 1931 he was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps in accordance with<br />

articles 58-10, 58-11 and 59-7. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Trophimus Evdokimovich Popov was born in 1877 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Bogorodskoye, Sharlyksk region, Middle Volga region into a peasant family.<br />

He had a wife Maria (born 1878) and four daughters. In 1918 he was arrested<br />

for making “a speech against Soviet power”. On November 10, 1931 he was<br />

arrested in Bogorodskoye and cast into Orenburg Domzak. On March 26 he<br />

was condemned by <strong>the</strong> OGPU for “being a member <strong>of</strong> a counter-revolutionary<br />

organization, ‘The Trues [True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Christians?], and sentenced to five<br />

years in <strong>the</strong> camps. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Alexis Ivanovich Trokhov was born in 1888 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Repyevka,<br />

Simbirsk province into a peasant family. He went to <strong>the</strong> local village school.<br />

Until 1914 he was a typesetter in St. Petersburg. From 1914 to October 10, 1917<br />

he was at <strong>the</strong> front, and from October 25, 1917 to March 2, 1918 he was a<br />
