Priest Leonid Vasilyevich Nesmelov was born in 1883 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

and dean, he served in Kotelnich. He was disenfranchised. He was accused <strong>of</strong><br />

“directing <strong>the</strong> activity <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> church-monarchist organization, <strong>the</strong> True<br />

<strong>Orthodox</strong> Church” and <strong>of</strong> “conducting counter-revolutionary work, pursuing<br />

as a final aim <strong>the</strong> preparation <strong>of</strong> conditions for <strong>the</strong> overthrow <strong>of</strong> Soviet<br />

power”. On August 14, 1932 he was sentenced to three years in <strong>the</strong> camps and<br />

sent to a camp. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Priest Ivan Vladimirovich Nikonov was born in 1872 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Velikorechye, Yaransk uyezd, Vyatka province into <strong>the</strong> family <strong>of</strong> a priest. He<br />

went to Vyatka <strong>the</strong>ological seminary. He was disenfranchised. In 1921 he was<br />

arrested for antisoviet activity, and sntenced to three years in <strong>the</strong> camps<br />

conditionally. After <strong>the</strong> arrest <strong>of</strong> Fr. Basil Poptsov he became <strong>the</strong> rector <strong>of</strong> his<br />

church in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Lyumpanur. In 1932 he was arrested in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Shapta, Kiknur region and accused <strong>of</strong> “directing <strong>the</strong> activity <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> churchmonarchist<br />

organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church” and <strong>of</strong> “conducting<br />

active counter-revolutionary work, pursuing as his final aim <strong>the</strong> preparation<br />

<strong>of</strong> conditions for <strong>the</strong> overthrow <strong>of</strong> Soviet power”. On August 14 he was<br />

organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church” and <strong>of</strong> “conducting counterrevolutionary<br />

work, pursuing as his final aim <strong>the</strong> preparation <strong>of</strong> conditions<br />

for <strong>the</strong> overthrow <strong>of</strong> Soviet power”. On August 14 he was sentenced to three<br />
