sentenced to death. On October 14 he was shot.<br />

Priest Alexander Nikolayevich Yakovlev was born in 1885 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Korba, Semynovsky uyezd, Ivanovo province, and went to a <strong>the</strong>ological<br />

seminary. A priest <strong>of</strong> “Victorite” orientation, he served in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Ilyinskoye, Makaryevo region. In 1929 he was arrested for “counterrevolutionary<br />

activity” and was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps and sent<br />

to a camp. In 1934, after his release, he returned to Vyatka province. In <strong>the</strong><br />

summer <strong>of</strong> 1937 he was arrested for being “a participant in <strong>the</strong> counterrevolutionary<br />

organization <strong>of</strong> churchpeople, ‘<strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church’”,<br />

and on September 29 was sentenced to death. He was shot on October 13.<br />

Priest Alexander Tim<strong>of</strong>eyevich Shilnikov was born in 1882 in <strong>the</strong><br />

settlement <strong>of</strong> Kirs, Omutnino uyezd, Vyatka province into a peasant family,<br />

and served in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Yelevo, Belokholunitsky region. In 1930 he was<br />

arrested and sentenced to three years’ exile and sent to <strong>the</strong> north. In <strong>the</strong><br />

summer <strong>of</strong> 1937 he was arrested for being “a participant in <strong>the</strong> counterrevolutionary<br />

organization <strong>of</strong> churchpeople, ‘<strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church’”,<br />

and on September 29 was sentenced to death. He was shot on October 14.<br />

Priest Michael Alexeyevich Yuferev was born in 1882 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Nemy, Nemy uyezd, Vyatka province into a clerical family. He lived in <strong>the</strong><br />

village <strong>of</strong> Nikulitskoye, while serving in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Uspenskoye, Slobodsky<br />

region. In 1929 he was arrested, and on February 3, 1930 was sentenced to five<br />

years in <strong>the</strong> camps and sent to a camp. In 1934 he was released and returned<br />

to Nikulitskoye. In <strong>the</strong> summer <strong>of</strong> 1937 he was arrested for being “a<br />

participant in <strong>the</strong> counter-revolutionary organization <strong>of</strong> churchpeople, ‘<strong>the</strong><br />

True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church’”, and on September 29 was sentenced to death. He<br />

was shot on October 14.<br />

Priest Peter Alexandrovich Obraztsov was born in 1888 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Katroma, Vologda province (or Mityukovo pogost, Kadnikovo uyezd,<br />

Vologda province) into a clergy family, and went to <strong>the</strong>ological seminary and<br />

Kazan Theological Academy. He became rector <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Trinity ca<strong>the</strong>dral in<br />

Kotelnich. On June 10, 1921 he was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps. In<br />

January, 1928 he was persuaded by Priest Peter Teplyashin to join Bishop<br />

Victor toge<strong>the</strong>r with his parish council. The o<strong>the</strong>r priest <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> ca<strong>the</strong>dral, Fr.<br />

Nicholas Kurbanovsky, also commemorated Bishop Victor. Nothing more is<br />

known about him. In 1931 he was arrested, and on June 10 was sentenced to<br />

five years in <strong>the</strong> camps and sent to a camp. In 1936 he was released and<br />

returned to <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Topovo, serving in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Fedoseyevskoye,<br />

Svechin region. In <strong>the</strong> summer <strong>of</strong> 1937 he was arrested for being “a<br />

participant in <strong>the</strong> counter-revolutionary organization <strong>of</strong> churchpeople, ‘<strong>the</strong><br />

True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church’”, and on September 29 was sentenced to death. He<br />

was shot on October 14.<br />
