Deacon Michael Ivanovich Golovin was born in 1871 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Lyumpanur, Sanchur uyezd, and went to Yaransk <strong>the</strong>ological school. He was<br />

disenfranchised. In <strong>the</strong> 1930s he was condemned and fined. In 1932 he was<br />

arrested in Lyumpanur and accused <strong>of</strong> “joining a church-monarchist<br />

organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church” and “on <strong>the</strong> organization’s<br />

commands, conducting counter-revolutionary work among <strong>the</strong> population”.<br />

On August 14, 1932 he was sentenced to three years’ exile in <strong>the</strong> north.<br />

Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Monk Stepan (Nikolayevich Averyanov) was born in 1889 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Kosyakovo, Spassky uyezd, Kazan province. He was a monk-wanderer. In<br />

1932 he was arrested in Sanchur region and accused <strong>of</strong> “joining <strong>the</strong> staff <strong>of</strong> a<br />

church-monarchist organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church” and “on <strong>the</strong><br />

command <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> organization, carrying out counter-revolutionary work<br />

among <strong>the</strong> population”. On August 14, 1932 he was sentenced to three years’<br />

exile and sent to <strong>the</strong> north. After his release he returned to his homeland. In<br />

<strong>the</strong> summer <strong>of</strong> 1941 he was arrested, and on August 1 he was sentenced to<br />

death and shot.<br />

Monk Basil (Vasilyevich Zharekhin) was born in 1893 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Maloye Kurino, Sanchur uyezd. He was disenfranchised. He was a wanderer.<br />

In 1932 he was arrested in <strong>the</strong> Sanchur region and accused <strong>of</strong> “joining <strong>the</strong> staff<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> church-monarchist organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church” and <strong>of</strong><br />

“conducting counter-revolutionary work in <strong>the</strong> population on <strong>the</strong> orders <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> organization”. On August 14 he was sentenced to three years’ exile and<br />

sent to <strong>the</strong> north. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Nun Xenia (Ignatyevna Lapteva) was born in 1896 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Maloye,<br />

Sharygino, Kiknur uyezd. She was disenfranchised. In 1932 she was arrested<br />

in her native village and accused <strong>of</strong> “joining <strong>the</strong> staff <strong>of</strong> a church-monarchist<br />

organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church” and “on <strong>the</strong> command <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

organization, carrying out counter-revolutionary work among <strong>the</strong><br />

population”. On August 14, 1932 she was sentenced to three years’ exile and<br />

sent to Kazakhstan. Nothing more is known about her.<br />

Reader Gregory Alexandrovich Kreknin was born in 1876 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Verkhne-Vondanskoye, Darovsk uyezd. He was disenfranchised. In 1931 he<br />

was arrested and sentenced to three months’ forced labour. In 1932 he was<br />

arrested in his native village and accused <strong>of</strong> “joining <strong>the</strong> staff <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> churchmonarchist<br />

organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church” and <strong>of</strong> “conducting<br />

counter-revolutionary work in <strong>the</strong> population on <strong>the</strong> orders <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

organization”. On August 14 he was sentenced to three years’ exile and sent<br />

to <strong>the</strong> north. Nothing more is known about him.<br />
