September 10 was sentenced to ten years in <strong>the</strong> camps and sent to a camp.<br />

Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Priest Michael Petrovich Perov. He was born in 1885 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Zernovka, Samara province in <strong>the</strong> family <strong>of</strong> a priest, and went to a <strong>the</strong>ological<br />

seminary. He served in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Bogorodskoye, Meleuzovsky region, and<br />

was <strong>the</strong> organizer <strong>of</strong> mass protests <strong>of</strong> believers. On July 15, 1931 he was<br />

arrested for being “an active participant in <strong>the</strong> Ufa branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> counterrevolutionary<br />

monarchist church organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church”,<br />

and on September 22 was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps and sent to a<br />

camp. In 1936, after being released from exile, he returned to <strong>the</strong><br />

Voskresensky region. On August 15, 1937 he was arrested, and on November<br />

3 was sentenced to death. He was shot on <strong>the</strong> same day.<br />

Deacon Alexander Ivanovich Gayev. He was born in 1903 in <strong>the</strong> Urals<br />

region, and went to a village school. He served in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Mikhailovka.<br />

On May 14, 1931 he was arrested in connection with <strong>the</strong> Ufa branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church, and on September 24 was sentenced to five years in<br />

<strong>the</strong> camps. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Deacon Andrew Leontyevich Kazarez. He was born in 1872. In 1930 he<br />

was arrested, and on April 9, 1930 was sentenced to three years’ exile. After<br />

his release he returned to his homeland. In 1940 he was arrested again, and on<br />

August 23, 1940 was sentenced to ten years in <strong>the</strong> camps. Nothing more is<br />

known about him.<br />

Abbess Avdotia, in <strong>the</strong> world Eudocia Yakovlevna Panferova. She was<br />

born in 1886 in Tambov province and received an elementary education. She<br />

became <strong>the</strong> abbess <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Yenatsky monastery in Sterlitamak. On June 2, 1931<br />

she was arrested in connection with a branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church.<br />

she was released from prison after promising not to leave <strong>the</strong> town, but was<br />

later exiled. Nothing more is known about her.<br />

Nun Theodosia (Stepanovna Alysheva). She was born in 1883 in <strong>the</strong><br />

village <strong>of</strong> Samorodovka, Ufa province. On June 15, 1931 she was arrested in<br />

connection with <strong>the</strong> Ufa branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church. On September<br />

22, 1931 she was sentenced to three years’ exile in <strong>the</strong> north.<br />

Nun Anna (Fyodorovna Azarova). She was born in 1905 in Sterlitamak,<br />

Ufa province, and received an elementary education. On August 25, 1931 she<br />

was arrested for being “an active participant in <strong>the</strong> Ufa branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> counterrevolutionary<br />

monarchist church organization, <strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Church”,<br />

and on September 24 was sentenced to three years in <strong>the</strong> camps and sent to a<br />

camp. Nothing more is known about her.<br />
