illegal assemblies”. In accordance with article 58-11, he was sentenced to three<br />

years’ exile in <strong>the</strong> north. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Constantine Nikolayevich Ivanov. He was born in 1859 in Vyatka into a<br />

lower-middle-class family. He went to a city school in Vyatka and became<br />

diocesan missionary. In 1923 he was sentenced in accordance with article 58-<br />

10 to three years’ exile in Komi for “anti-Soviet activity”. On returning to<br />

Vyatka in 1927 he became a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> parish council <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Resurrection<br />

ca<strong>the</strong>dral. On September 13, 1929 he was arrested and cast into Vyatka<br />

isolator. On February 3, 1930 he was accused that, “being a member <strong>of</strong> an<br />

illegal church-parish council, he helped <strong>the</strong> activity <strong>of</strong> a church-monarchist<br />

grouping”. In accordance with article 58-11, he was sentenced to three years’<br />

exile in <strong>the</strong> north. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Basil Alexandrovich Kiryanov. He was born in 1871 in Vyatka, and went<br />

to a church-parish school. He was a tin-smith by pr<strong>of</strong>ession. He became a<br />

member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> parish council <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Resurrection ca<strong>the</strong>dral. In September,<br />

1929 he was arrested and cast into Vyatka isolator. On February 3, 1930 he<br />

was accused that, “being a member <strong>of</strong> an illegal church-parish council, he<br />

helped <strong>the</strong> activity <strong>of</strong> a church-monarchist grouping”. In accordance with<br />

article 58-11, he was sentenced to three years’ exile in <strong>the</strong> north. Nothing more<br />

is known about him.<br />

Alexis Nikitovich Sharomov. He was born in 1877 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Afonovskaya, Slobodskaya uyezd, Vyatka province into a peasant family. He<br />

was a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> parish council <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Resurrection ca<strong>the</strong>dral in Vyatka.<br />

In September, 1929 he was arrested and cast into Vyatka isolator. He was<br />

accused that, “being a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> church-parish council <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Resurrection ca<strong>the</strong>dral <strong>of</strong> Vyatka, he took an active part in <strong>the</strong> activity <strong>of</strong> a<br />

ca<strong>the</strong>dral grouping that was directed against Soviet power, and was<br />

preparing <strong>the</strong> ground for <strong>the</strong> conducting <strong>of</strong> illegal assemblies”. In accordance<br />

with article 58-11, he was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps. Nothing more<br />

is known about him.<br />

Yegor Ignatyevich Filimonov. He was born in 1874 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Marakulinskaya, Gorovsky uyezd, Vyatka province and was a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

church parish council <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Resurrection ca<strong>the</strong>dral in Vyatka. In September,<br />

1929 he was arrested and cast into Vyatka isolator. On February 3, 1930 he<br />

was sentenced in accordance with article 58-11 to three years’ exile to <strong>the</strong><br />

north. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Michael Vasilyevich Mukharitsyn. He was born in 1859, and was a<br />

member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> church-parish council in <strong>the</strong> Resurrection ca<strong>the</strong>dral in Vyatka.<br />
