He went to a village school. He served as a private in <strong>the</strong> Russo-Japanese and<br />

First World Wars. In 1929, while living in his native village, he was sentenced<br />

to three years’ exile in Samara. There, on February 23, 1931 he was arrested<br />

again and cast into Orenburg Domzak. He was sentenced to eight years in <strong>the</strong><br />

camps in accordance with articles 58-10, 58-11 and 59-7. Nothing more is<br />

known about him.<br />

Paul Vasilyevich Bocharov. He was born in February, 1894 into a peasant<br />

family in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> V-Gumber, Kashirinsky region. He went to a village<br />

school and served as a private in <strong>the</strong> army from 1914 to 1917. He was married<br />

to Eudocia, and had two sons and three daughters. On December 20, 1930 he<br />

was arrested in his native village, and was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps<br />

in accordance with articles 58-10, 58-11 and 59-7. Nothing more is known<br />

about him.<br />

Ivan Stepanovich Yarygin. He was born in 1888 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Kolychevo, Sharlyksky region into a peasant family. In 1928 he was deprived<br />

<strong>of</strong> civil rights. He was married to Aquilina, and had five daughters. On<br />

February 4, 1931 he was arrested and cast into Orenburg Domzak. He was<br />

convicted <strong>of</strong> being “a member <strong>of</strong> a church-monarchist counter-revolutionary<br />

organization, ‘The Trues’,” and “<strong>the</strong> organizer <strong>of</strong> a cell in Kolychevo”. In<br />

accordance with articles 58-10, 58-11 and 58-7, he was sentenced to eight years<br />

in <strong>the</strong> camps. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Ignatius Danilovich Ivannikov. He was born in December, 1879 in <strong>the</strong><br />

village <strong>of</strong> V-Gumbet, Kashirinsky region, into a peasant family. He was<br />

married to Matrona, and had two sons. On December 16, 1930 he was arrested<br />

and cast into <strong>the</strong> Domzak in Orenburg. He was convicted <strong>of</strong> “being a member<br />

<strong>of</strong> a counter-revolutionary organization, ‘The Trues’, visiting illegal meetings<br />

and agitating against collective farms”. In accordance with articles 58-10, 58-11<br />

and 59-7 he was sentenced to five years in <strong>the</strong> camps. Nothing more is known<br />

about him.<br />

Theodore Tim<strong>of</strong>eyevich Gusev. He was born in 1880 (or March, 1879) in<br />

Novo-Spassky, Pokrov region, and served as a private in <strong>the</strong> army from 1916<br />

to 1917. In 1929 he was disenfranchised, and in 1930 – dekulakized, being<br />

condemned for not fulfilling a plan for <strong>the</strong> production <strong>of</strong> bread. He was<br />

married to Maria (born 1879) and had a son. On December 16, 1930 he was<br />

arrested and cast into Orenburg Domzak. On March 26 he was convicted <strong>of</strong><br />

“being a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> counter-revolutionary organization, ‘The Trues’”, and<br />

in accordance with articles 58-10, 58-11 and 59-7 was sentenced to five years in<br />

<strong>the</strong> camps. Nothing more is known about him.<br />

Michael Konstantinovich Lavrov. He was born in 1897 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Putyatino, Sharlyksky region in <strong>the</strong> Middle Volga region. He was <strong>the</strong> son <strong>of</strong> a<br />

tradesman and finished his studies at <strong>the</strong> village school. Before <strong>the</strong> revolution<br />
