Anna Evdokimovna Nagayeva was born in 1867 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Balyaninkovka, Zolotovsky region, Saratov province. A True <strong>Orthodox</strong><br />

Christian, she lived in <strong>the</strong> town <strong>of</strong> Khvalynsk, Saratov province. On December<br />

30, 1940 she was arrested in Khvalynsk and accused <strong>of</strong> “participation in an<br />

anti-Soviet organization <strong>of</strong> sectarians (<strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Christians <strong>of</strong><br />

Saratov)”. On June 4, 1941 she was sentenced to ten years in prison.<br />

Pelagia Vasilyevna Popova was born in 1881 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Neyelovka,<br />

Vyazovsky region, Saratov province. On March 4, 1941 she was arrested in<br />

Saratov, and on June 4 she was sentenced to seven years in prison for<br />

“belonging to an anti-Soviet sectarian organization <strong>of</strong> sectarians (<strong>the</strong> True<br />

<strong>Orthodox</strong> Christians <strong>of</strong> Saratov)”.<br />

Eudocia Stepanovna Gorina was born in 1881 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Formosovo,<br />

Saratov region. On January 24, 1941 she was arrested in Saratov, and<br />

sentenced to eight years in prison for “belonging to an anti-Soviet sectarian<br />

organization <strong>of</strong> sectarians (<strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Christians <strong>of</strong> Saratov)”.<br />

Maria (Valentina) Alexeyevna Petrova (Klinova) was born in 1902 in <strong>the</strong><br />

village <strong>of</strong> Sinenkiye, Saratov region, Saratov province. On December 17, 1940<br />

she was arrested by <strong>the</strong> investigatory department <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Saratov UNKVD, and<br />

on June 4, 1941 was accused <strong>of</strong> “participation in an anti-Soviet organization <strong>of</strong><br />

sectarians (<strong>the</strong> True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Christians <strong>of</strong> Saratov)”. She was sentenced to<br />

seven years in prison.<br />

Barbara Semyonovna Ponomareva was born in 1880 in <strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong><br />

Formosovo, Saratov region. On January 22, 1941 she was arrested by <strong>the</strong><br />

UNKVD in Saratov, and on June 4 she was sentenced to eight years’<br />

imprisonment for “participation in an anti-Soviet organization <strong>of</strong> sectarians<br />

(The True <strong>Orthodox</strong> Christians <strong>of</strong> Saratov)”.<br />

Nun Vassa (Leonida (Larisa) Efimovna Dozmorova) was born in 1896 in<br />

<strong>the</strong> village <strong>of</strong> Ust-Gorokhovoye, Dobryansky region, Perm province. On June<br />

8, 1949 she was arrested as “a wandering nun”, and on May 6, 1950 was<br />

convicted as “a participant in <strong>the</strong> sectarian organization, ‘The True <strong>Orthodox</strong><br />

Christians <strong>of</strong> S(aratov)’”. In accordance with articles 58-10 part 2 and 58-11,<br />

she was sentenced to five years in a special camp. Nothing more is known<br />

about her.<br />
