When speaking of development in the economy of one's own workplace, the
men in all three nations have been somewhat more optimistic than the women.
In Estonia, the percentage of negative expectations has decreased for both.
Favourable estimates of the workplace economy, on the other hand, have increased
only in the men's case. In Latvia, positive attitudes have increased a
little more among the men than among the women. The Lithuanian situation
differs from those above, because the proportion of pessimistic expectations
has grown for both genders and, correspondingly, the percentage of optimistic
ones has decreased. The change has been clearer in the men's case than the
women's.
