Development activities in work organisations Direction of change 1998-2002 Expectations concerning the employmentsituation and economy During a one-year period, approximately half of the working people have made development initiatives. There has been steady improvement. 267 Expectations concerning the general employment situation are negative. A great majority of workplaces use teamwork. There have been no great changes. The most positive expectations in the Baltic countries. More consultantdriven development projects than in Estonia and Latvia.
