PART 1 - GENERAL
1.01 DESCRIPTION
A. Minimum administration and supervisory requirements necessary for
coordination of Work on the Project include but are not necessarily limited to the
following:
1. Pre-Construction Conference
2. Coordination and Progress Meetings
3. Administration and Supervisory personnel
4. Special Reports
5. Communications
6. Daily Reports
7. Record Drawings (As-Builts)
8. Pre-Installation
1.02 PRECONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE
A. Before beginning Early Construction or GMP Work at the Site, the
CONTRACTOR shall attend a preconstruction conference and bring with him the
Project Management Team employed for this Project. In the event a Team
member is unable to attend the CONTRACTOR shall bring with him a Letter of
Introduction in which he advises the full names and duties of the Team
member(s) and states that they are assigned to the Project and will be in full
responsible charge. This conference will be called by the CPM who will arrange
for the CONSULTANT and other interested parties to be present. The
CONTRACTOR shall also notify his major subcontractors and suppliers of this
meeting if their attendance is required. At this time, all parties will discuss the
Project under Contract and prepare a program of procedure in keeping with
requirements of the Contract Documents. The CONTRACTOR’s Project
Management Team will henceforth make every effort to expeditiously coordinate
all phases of the Work, including the required reporting procedure, to obtain the
end result within the full purpose and intent of the Contract Documents for this
Project.
1.03 COORDINATION AND PROGRESS MEETINGS
A. The CPM will prepare a written memorandum on required coordination activities.
Included will be such items as required notices, reports, and attendance at
meetings. This memorandum will be distributed to each entity performing
construction at the Project Site.
