PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS
A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary
Conditions and Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section.
1.2 SUMMARY
A. Section Includes:
1. Plastic-laminate curbside conveyor enclosure.
2. Decorative metalwork incorporated into curbside conveyor enclosure.
3. Shop finishing of curbside conveyor enclosure.
4. Delivery and storage of curbside conveyor enclosure.
B. Related Sections:
1. Division 34 Section "Baggage Handling Equipment" for baggage handling equipment.
1.3 REFERENCES
A. Minimum standards for work in this section shall be in conformity with the Architectural
Woodwork Institute (AWI) Quality Standards Illustrated (QSI), current edition.
1.4 ACTION SUBMITTALS
A. Product Data: For each type of product, including panel products , decorative metalwork
materials, metal fabrication materials, fire-retardant-treated materials and cabinet hardware and
accessories.
1. Include data for fire-retardant treatment from chemical-treatment manufacturer and
certification by treating plant that treated materials comply with requirements.
B. Shop Drawings: Show dimensioned plans and elevations, large-scale details, attachment
devices, and other components.
1. Submit shop drawings in conformance with the requirements of the AWI
2. Submit two copies, one of which will be returned with reviewed notations. Make
corrections noted (if any), and distribute required copies prior to the start of the work.
3. Show locations and sizes of cutouts and holes for electrical wiring and outlets and other
items installed in architectural plastic-laminate cabinets.
