TASK ORDER 03: LOBBY IMPROVEMENTS – PKG 4 -CURBSIDE CHECK-IN

1. Terminal A Improvements (Near Term): Task Order 01 – TSA Security Screening Check
Point (SSCP); includes the construction of a new TSA approved check-point located at
the west of the existing circulation throat which connects Terminal A to the “Banjo” hold
rooms.
2. Terminal A Improvements (Near Term): Task Order 3.1 Lobby Improvements, –
FLOORING; includes the replacement of the existing flooring with porcelain tile.
3. Terminal A Improvements (Near Term): Task Order 3.2 Lobby Improvements, –
TICKET COUNTERS; includes the replacement of the existing ticket counters with new
millwork and inserts to match the JetBlue Lobby.
4. Terminal A Improvements (Near Term): Task Order 3.5.1 Lobby Improvements, –
FINISHES; includes the updating most of the remaining finishes in the existing Terminal
A Lobby.
5. Terminal A Improvements (Near Term): Task Order 4 – Outbound Baggage Facility;
includes the design and construction of a new pre-engineered baggage handling facility
building and outbound baggage handling system from the existing Terminal A TSA
screening area to the new building.

1.6 ACCESS TO SITE
A. General: Contractor shall have limited use of Project site for construction operations as
indicated on Drawings by the Contract limits and as indicated by requirements of this Section.
B. Use of Site: Limit use of Project site to areas within the Contract limits indicated. Do not
disturb portions of Project site beyond areas in which the Work is indicated.
1. Limits: Confine construction operations to the baggage conveyor right-of-way, the lower
level baggage make-up area and the TSA Baggage Screening Area.
2. Driveways, Walkways and Entrances: Keep driveways, loading areas, and entrances
serving premises clear and available to The Authority, The Authority's employees,
tenants, traveling public, and emergency vehicles at all times. Do not use these areas for
parking or storage of materials.
a. Schedule deliveries to minimize use of driveways and entrances by construction
operations.
b. Schedule deliveries to minimize space and time requirements for storage of
materials and equipment on-site.
C. Condition of Existing Building: Maintain portions of existing building affected by construction
operations in a weathertight condition throughout construction period. Repair damage caused
by construction operations.
