Clean internal surfaces of manholes, including sump. Remove foreign material. PART 4 - CONTRACTOR’S QUALITY CONTROL REQUIREMENTS 4.1 QUALITY CONTROL A. Comply with applicable provisions of Division 01 Section “Quality Requirements” for requirements for Contractor Quality Control Program. B. Perform the following field tests and inspections and prepare test reports: 1. Demonstrate capability and compliance with requirements on completion of installation of underground ducts and utility structures. 2. Pull aluminum or wood test mandrel through duct to prove joint integrity and test for outof-round duct. Provide mandrel equal to 80 percent fill of duct. If obstructions are indicated, remove obstructions and retest. 3. Test manhole grounding to ensure electrical continuity of grounding and bonding connections. Measure and report ground resistance as specified in Section 26 05 26 "Grounding and Bonding for Electrical Systems." C. This Section specifies electrical identification materials and includes requirements for electrical identification including but not limited to the following: 1. Identification labeling for raceways, cables, and conductors. 2. Operational instruction signs. 3. Warning and caution signs. 4. Equipment labels and signs. B. Related Sections: The following Sections contain requirements that relate to this Section: 1.
