Apply AWI Quality Certification Program label to Shop Drawings. C. Samples for Verification: 1. Plastic laminates, 8 by 10 inches, for each type, color, pattern, and surface finish, with one sample applied to core material and specified edge material applied to one edge. 2. Hardwood Plywood, 12 by 12 inches. Samples shall represent the range color and grain expected to be provided. 3. Decorative metalwork materials, including flat and corrugated Stainless Steel panels, 8 by 10 inches, with edge banding on one edge. 1.5 INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS A. Qualification Data: For fabricator. B. Product Certificates: For the following: 1. Composite wood and agrifiber products. 2. Thermoset decorative panels. 3. Adhesives. C. Architectural Woodwork Quality Standard Compliance Certificates: AWI Quality Certification Program certificates. D. Evaluation Reports: For fire-retardant-treated materials, from ICC-ES. E. Mill Certificates: Signed by manufacturers of stainless-steel certifying that products furnished comply with requirements. F. Maintenance Data: For stainless-steel finish to include in maintenance manuals. G. Single Source Responsibility: A single fabricator shall provide and fabricate the work described in this Section. 1.6 QUALITY ASSURANCE A. Perform work in accordance with Premium Grade quality. B. Fabricator Qualifications: Shop that employs skilled workers who custom fabricate products similar to those required for this Project and whose products have a record of successful inservice performance. Shop is a certified participant in AWI's Quality Certification Program. C. Testing Agency Qualifications: For testing agency providing classification marking for fireretardant-treated material, an inspection agency acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction that periodically performs inspections to verify that the material bearing the classification marking is representative of the material tested. Mockups: Build mockups to verify selections made under Sample submittals and to demonstrate aesthetic effects and set quality standards for materials and execution. 1. Build mockups of typical double-agent ticket counter as shown on Drawings. 2. Subject to compliance with requirements, approved mockups may become part of the completed Work if undisturbed at time of Substantial Completion. 1.7 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING A. Curbside conveyor enclosure shall be stored in an area designated by the Authority. B. Preparation 1. Before delivering enclosure, examine shop-fabricated work for completion and complete work as required. 2. Repair any damaged and defective areas, where possible, to eliminate functional and visual defects; where not possible to repair, replace woodwork. Adjust joinery for uniform appearance. C. Protect exposed surfaces, edges, reveals and secure all removable and opening components. D. Deliver Ticket Counters Shells, Inserts, Posts, and Signage to the Authority at the following location: 1. Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Warehouse Building, MA-134 Washington, DC 20001-4901 E. Coordinate fabrication, and delivery schedule with the COTR. F. Inspect the area designated by the Authority for storage of products prior to delivering products. Verify temperatures and humidity within the range recommended by the AWI. If conditions are unsuitable contact the COTR immediately. G. Deliver all products wrapped in protective coverings and suitable packs. 1.8 WARRANTY A. Special Warranty: Manufacturer's standard form in which manufacturer agrees to repair or replace components of signs that fail in materials or workmanship within specified warranty period. 1.
