Exhibit 9.1. How You Deliver Services
How you deliver consulting services is as important as the service you provide.
Build your relationship with your client by providing superb service. These
commonly accepted elements of service apply to all businesses, including your
consulting practice.
1. Time. How much time are you spending on the project? Too little
and your clients will wonder what they are paying for; too much and
your clients will wonder if you have moved in! In addition, plan time
to build the client relationship. It’s a key element in delivering highquality
service.
2. Timeliness. Do you do what you say you are going to do when you say
you will? Do you return your phone calls promptly?
3. Completeness. Do you do everything you say you will? Do you do
everything you should do? Always?
4. Courtesy. Do you treat everyone in your client’s firm respectfully,
politely, and cheerfully? Do you greet the receptionist with the same
positive attention with which you greet the CEO?
5. Consistency. Do you provide the same high-quality services to all
clients?
6. Convenience. Are you easy to reach? Are you able to turn on a dime to
meet special needs that may come up?
7. Accuracy. Is your service provided right the first time? Do you aim for
“flawless consulting”? Do the results demonstrate the accuracy that was
agreed on initially?
8. Responsiveness. How quickly do you respond if something goes awry?
Do you accept the responsibility for problems?
