Ms. Trey Hutchison is the president of the Unison Group, Inc., a firm specializing
in human performance and teamwork.
Ms. Hutchison is a former assistant VP for loans at Towne Bank in Virginia
Beach, Virginia, where she worked for fifteen years. She has managed both
line and staff functions and had gained the reputation as the organization’s
team builder. Ms. Hutchison led the Towne Bank buyout of Southeast Virginia
Bank and coordinated the redesign of the human resources function
to serve all employees. Her expertise in mergers in the financial industry has
resulted in numerous speaking engagements. She has been a featured speaker
at several industry conferences and has had articles published in Finance
Today and Professional Women in Banking. She has also published articles in
the Hampton Roads Business News.
The Southern Virginia Chapter of Women in Banking named Ms. Hutchison
Loan Officer of the Year in 2000 in recognition of her “outstanding and innovative
work in maximizing opportunities for women in banking.” She has
served as a board member for her local Kiwanis, where she recently led the
strategic planning effort. She is presently serving her second term on the
Alumni Board at Old Dominion University and is a member of the Institute
of Management Consultants and national ASTD.
Ms. Hutchison focuses on the financial industry, facilitating team-building
sessions and providing training in customer service, business ethics, mentoring,
and strategic planning.
Ms. Hutchison has a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in
business and education consulting and a master’s degree in human resource
development.
