Practicing Creativity on Other Marketing Needs
As you implement your marketing plan, you will bump up against other aspects
that will require your creative input; for example, how to make your package stand
out in the mail or identifying a unique occasion to celebrate. I have identified some
of these situations and have provided a half-dozen ideas for each. Some may be
useful to you right now. Go ahead and use them. In addition, take a few minutes
to identify another half-dozen. You may be surprised at how creative you can be
using the techniques above.

may want to consider writing and sending a press release about you and your business.

to the media. What can you submit that would be interesting enough to
publish? Examine every item about you and try to connect it to your business. For
example, if you are a computer consultant and your hobby is genealogy, you could
write about how to design and file your family tree on a computer or how to use
a computer to research a family genealogy. If you do volunteer work, write an article
about something special you did, provide pictures, and mention your business.
