Sixscatterplots have explored the relationships between project values, timescales,variances to project durations and the independence of data (omission of bias). Thesediscoveries, together with calculation of project arithmetic means provide afoundation to explore the data further. In order to provide greater depth ofunderstanding through exploration of relationships between data, an assessment ismade to determine project success. Project success for the construction industry ismade by reference to published research, allowing for the recognition of criticalsuccess factors by this study.7.9 Critical success factors and project success index used for this researchYeung et al (2008) proposed quantitative indicators that could be adapted forcollaborative projects by use of client organisations.
