Ourthoughts can be considered and reviewed you know at all stages, periodically throughthe contract. So I think it does focus the attention on some things which were notnecessarily err high up on the priority list.Q14 In your opinion, is the collection of key performance data worthwhile? Is itdemanding?It’s certainly not demanding, I don’t reckon so. It’s a management requirementthrough the frameworks and that after a while it becomes automatic. Its veryworthwhile. I think maybe we need to focus on reviewing the data that is collected,check that everyone is applying the same criteria when scoring, and comparisonbetween suppliers is accurate. I think we need to be aware that not to just look at thescores that are coming in but understanding the reasons behind them. Accuratedefinitions are essential because one person’s opinion may differ from another -someone else might have a completely contrary view. We need to get together andwe need to put those scores together until we can get more sense of the views inparticular areas of performanceQ15 In your view, does the use of a framework help with the balance of riskallocation? Why do you think it is?No, I don’t think so. I mean the risk allocation is really set out in each contract ratherthan the framework contract or the NEC effectively. I don’t think the framework hasany place in that in my opinion.412
