Thesis Keith Gale 20139.11 Identification of questions from section 3 of the questionnaire which relateto sociological behaviour factorsResults obtained from section 3 are used to examine factors of sociological groupdrivers to examine views comparable to those discovered through the literal review.Selected questions within the questionnaire are isolated for specific analysis allied tothe areas of literal discovery. In addition to the questions posed for subject matter ofrelationships, communication, incentives and satisfaction, a number of otherquestions are included to provide comparative analysis. A review of questionscontained in section 3 is given below together with an explanation of rationale inTable 9.9. Only questions that are relevant toward sociological behaviours areincluded with this stage of analysis. Questions that duplicate through reversestatements are ignored because these are used to test reliability of participantresponses.A literary review of organisational behaviours for construction research undertakenin chapter three identified 26 behaviours that contributed toward positive results inproject outcomes. These were refined with further literature to produce the ten mostsignificant behaviours for effective behaviours. A pilot study identified fourbehaviours that participants ranked most significant. The same ten behaviours identified from research into characteristics of highperformance organisations (Akdemir et al, 2010) were included among questionsposed within the research questionnaire and issued to all participants. Responseswere filtered to remove reverse test questions and the remaining ten questions areincluded in Table 9.9 for analysis.215
