Why do you feel this is so?This is a very interesting question actually, and there’s a clear answer actually andthe answer is that frameworks give much better control. I think that it’s much betterbecause our rates are fixed so there is good financial control, projects are agreed,there are fixed quantities as measured on site and the rates are agreed. Before theframeworks, there was less communication and a lot of disagreement at the end of ajob. Whereas here with the framework system, the price is fixed so there is betterfinancial control.Q18 Do you feel that we should continue the use of frameworks In the future whenthe current ones expire in 2012?Yes, we should. Also I ask that we should update the current documentation everyyear. You know, improvements, bigger quantities, and multiple items which one ortwo might get overlooked so there’s a certain amount of work to be done here andalso standard details should go hand in hand. So I would like to see a bigimprovement. Also, is the project five years?No, its four years, it finishes in 2012.Yes, definitely. And I think, if you look around, framework one is faster and neaterand quicker and tidier. So all those things attribute to a really effective gain inperformance. Quite a lot of these schemes are faster and we are using tenderingprocesses that are issued electronically, so a smaller number of suppliers helps and Ithink we are quicker and neater. There’s no trouble transferring documentation toother places or new people, its all intact now.
