1. Location<br />

Colbath Ave. between 26th St and Ware Rd.<br />

2. Work to be Performed<br />

Installation of a new transmission line and a Raw water line.<br />

3. Reason for Work<br />

The new transmission line will help deliver potable water to the western half of<br />

McAllen service area. The raw water line will be able to deliver a new source water to<br />

our South Water Treatment Plant.<br />

4. Impact on Operating <strong>Budget</strong><br />

Project will be entirely funded by a TWDB DWSRF Loan<br />

Expand Water Treatment Capacity by 4 MGD by the addition of Tube Settlers in<br />

existing clarifiers. Project will also include replacing existing SCADA system at both<br />

the South WTP and North WTP.<br />
