C’est plutôtl’inverse : utiliser l’espace cinématographique pour mettre <strong>en</strong> scène <strong>de</strong>sdialogues philosophiques, politiques, esthétiques, sans jamais cé<strong>de</strong>r sur leurpossible partage. Commandé par Peter Sellars dans le cadre <strong>de</strong> l’annéeanniversaire <strong>de</strong> Mozart à Vi<strong>en</strong>ne, sa ville natale, son <strong>de</strong>rnier film poseles questions <strong>de</strong> la colonisation. Comm<strong>en</strong>t ? Simplem<strong>en</strong>t : <strong>en</strong> <strong>en</strong>registrantles débats <strong>de</strong> jeunes théorici<strong>en</strong>s préoccupés d’une esthétique possible <strong>de</strong>l’immigration. Mais aussi <strong>en</strong> rev<strong>en</strong>ant au Woyzek <strong>de</strong> Büchner dont unefameuse scène est intégralem<strong>en</strong>t reprise au milieu <strong>de</strong>s décombres <strong>de</strong>représ<strong>en</strong>tations <strong>de</strong> la culture occid<strong>en</strong>tale. Entre le Nord et le Sud, quel art,quel artéfact <strong>de</strong> dialogue ? Or<strong>de</strong>red by Peter Sellersfor Mozart’s birthday year celebration in Vi<strong>en</strong>na, her hometown, her lastfilm poses questions about colonisation. How? In a simple way: by recording<strong>de</strong>bates of young theorists preoccupied by a possible aesthetic ofimmigration. But also by looking again at Woyzek by Büchner from which afamous sc<strong>en</strong>e is <strong>en</strong>tirely replayed among the rubble of repres<strong>en</strong>tations ofWestern culture. Betwe<strong>en</strong> North and South, which art, which artefact ofdialogue? It is this brok<strong>en</strong> image of the world that we are talking aboutreassembling here, without sticking the pieces back together.180
