Avere un “progetto di vita” e realizzarlo significa essere
felici? Protagoniste della storia sono Florencia e Eugenia,
madre e figlia di nove anni. La prima non sa cosa fare della
sua vita e di quella della figlia, mentre la seconda vorrebbe
scuotere la madre e condurla a un’esistenza dignitosa.
Accanto a loro, altre donne che cercano di mantenere
l’equilibrio sull’orlo del precipizio. Miglior opera prima al
XX Festival del Cinema di Guadalajara.
Does having a "life’s ambition" and achieving it mean being
happy? The main characters of this story are Florencia and her
nine year-old daughter, Eugenia. Florencia does not know what
to do with her life, nor with her daughter’s, while Eugenia would
like to shake her mother out of her current existence and towards
a more respectable life. They are surrounded by women trying to
maintain their balance on the edge of the abyss. The film was
awarded Best Debut Film at the 20th Guadalajara Film Festival.

Biografia
Vera Fogwill è nata a Buenos Aires nel 1972. Ha lavorato
come attrice di teatro dall’età di 14 anni aggiundicandosi
alcuni premi importanti. Inoltre ha scritto opere teatrali.
Come attrice cinematografica ha lavorato per il regista
argentino Alejandro Agresti.
Martín de Salvo è nato nel 1973 a Buenos Aires dove ha frequentato
l’università di video e cinema. Ha prodotto, scritto
e diretto numerosi cortometraggi, videoclip e spot. Ha
scritto anche un libro di cinema e una sceneggiatura per un
documentario.
Biography
Vera Fogwill was born in Buenos Aires in 1972. She began
working as a theatre actress at the age of 14 and has won several
important prizes. She also writes plays. As a film actress, she
has worked with Alejandro Agresti.
Martín de Salvo was born in Buenos Aires in 1973, where he
attended film and video school. He has produced, written and
directed numerous short films, music videos and commercials.
He has also written a book on cinema and a documentary screenplay.
