Il weekend di una coppia “clandestina”. Un uomo e una<br />

località turistica di mare, Wolgot. Stanno insieme, conversano,<br />
mangiano e fanno l’amore. Girato con una videocamera<br />
in 12 giorni con una troupe ridotta a poche unità,<br />

A weekend in the life of a “clandestine” couple. A man and<br />
woman meet in a hotel room near the sea resort town of Wolgot.<br />
They spend time together, talk, eat and make love. Shot with a<br />
video camera in 12 days, with a small crew and few units, this<br />
film is alive thanks also to the improvisational “jazz” skills of the<br />
director and the two actors.<br />

Biografia<br />
Nato nel 1961, ha studiato al Seoul Institute of Art e alla<br />
Korean Academy of Film Arts. Ha lavorato come produttore<br />
per To the Starry Island di Park Kwang-su e Cinema on<br />
the Road di Jang Sun-woo. Il suo primo lungometraggio,<br />
Motel Cactus, ha ricevuto numerosi premi, tra cui quello<br />
<strong>del</strong>la critica al Festival di Rotterdam.<br />
Biography<br />
Born in 1961, he studied at the Seoul Institute of Art and at the<br />
Korean Academy of Film Arts. He worked as a producer on Park<br />
Kwang-su’s To the Starry Island and Cinema on the Road by<br />
Jang Sun-woo. His first feature film, Motel Cactus, received<br />
numerous awards, including the Critics Prize at the Rotterdam<br />
Film Festival.<br />
