Il festival di Pusan nel 1998 realizzò un programma speciale<br />
in memoria di Yoo Joung-kil, direttore <strong>del</strong>la fotografia,<br />
tra gli altri, di molti film di Jang Sun-woo, e scomparso<br />
proprio in quell’anno all’età di 63 anni. In quella terza<br />
edizione furono proiettati alcuni dei film più importanti ai<br />
quali collaborò il grande direttore <strong>del</strong>la fotografia. E fu<br />
realizzato, per l’occasione, anche un <strong>document</strong>ario con<br />
vari spezzoni di film e interviste a registi, attori e, in generale,<br />
agli addetti ai lavori, per ricordare un protagonista<br />
indiscusso <strong>del</strong> <strong>cinema</strong> sudcoreano.<br />
In 1998, the Pusan Film Festival organized a special program in<br />
memory of Yoo Joung-kil, the acclaimed <strong>cinema</strong>tographer who<br />
worked with Jang Sun-woo, among others, and who died that<br />
year at the age of 63. In that year of its third edition, the festival<br />
screened some of the most important films on which the celebrated<br />
<strong>cinema</strong>tographer worked. A<strong>document</strong>ary was also created<br />
for the occasion, which includes various excerpts of films and<br />
interviews with directors, actors, and others from the world of<br />
<strong>cinema</strong>, to commemorate one of the undisputed greats of South<br />
Korean <strong>cinema</strong>.<br />
