PARADISE GIRLS
(t.l.: Il paradiso delle ragazze)
Un ragazzo lascia la sua fidanzata, un padre decide di tornare
in patria distaccandosi così dalla figlia, un bambino
malato deve affrontare un’operazione delicatissima con
poche probabilità di sopravvivenza. Miki è la fidanzata,
Pei Pei la figlia, Shirley la madre. Tre giovani protagoniste,
per tre storie che portano al Paradiso delle ragazze.
A young man leaves his girlfriend. A father decides to return to
his country, thus distancing himself from his daughter. A sick
boy must face an extremely delicate operation with little chance
of survival. Miki is the girlfriend, Pei Pei the daughter, Shirley
the mother. Three young women, for three stories that lead to a
paradise for girls.

Biografia
Nato nel 1970, di origine cinese, ha studiato ad Amsterdam
design industriale e ha realizzato numerosi video e quattro
cortometraggi. Il primo lungometraggio, Jacky, lo ha diretto
insieme a Brat Ljatifi ed è stato selezionato in vari festival
internazionali, primi fra tutti quello di Cannes (Un Certain
Regard) e di Pusan.
Biography
Born in 1970, of Chinese origin, Fow Pyng Hu studied industrial
design in Amsterdam and has made many videos and four
short films. His first feature film, Jacky, co-directed with Brat
Ljatifi, was presented at numerous international film festivals,
including Cannes (Un Certain Regard) and Pusan.
