To remove offline CMs from the internal address and routing tables for a cable interface, or to clear all<br />

flap list counters for offline CMs on a cable interface, use the clear cable modem offline command in<br />

privileged EXEC mode.<br />

clear cable modem cable slot/port offline {counters | delete}<br />

clear cable modem cable slot/subslot/port offline {counters | delete}<br />

cable slot/port Identifies the a interface and downstream port on the <strong>Cisco</strong> uBR7100<br />

series and <strong>Cisco</strong> uBR7200 series routers.<br />

On the <strong>Cisco</strong> uBR7100 series router, the only valid value is 1/0. On the<br />

<strong>Cisco</strong> uBR7200 series router, slot can range from 3 to 6, and port can<br />

be 0 or 1, depending on the cable interface.<br />

cable slot/subslot/port Identifies a cable interface on the <strong>Cisco</strong> uBR10012 router. The<br />

following are the valid values:<br />

slot = 5 to 8<br />

subslot = 0 or 1<br />

port = 0 to 4 (depending on the cable interface)<br />

counters Clears the flap list counters for all CMs that are currently offline.<br />

delete Removes all CMs that are currently offline from the router’s internal<br />

tables. The show cable modem command will no longer display these<br />

CMs until they attempt to reregister with the CMTS.<br />

12.2(11)BC3 This command was introduced for the <strong>Cisco</strong> uBR7100 series,<br />

<strong>Cisco</strong> uBR7200 series, and <strong>Cisco</strong> uBR10012 universal broadband routers.<br />

Examples The following example shows how to clear the counters for the offline CMs on a particular cable<br />

interface:<br />

Router# clear cable modem c3/0 offline counters<br />

Router#<br />

The following example shows how to delete all offline CMs from the router’s internal tables for a<br />

particular cable interface, and to remove them from the show cable modem command displays:<br />

Router# clear cable modem c3/0 offline delete<br />
