Cisco Broadband Cable Command Reference Guide
Chapter 2 Cisco Cable Modem Termination System Commands
To display the current time-slot scheduling state and statistics, use the show interface cable
mac-schedule command in privileged EXEC mode.
show interface cable {slot/port | slot/subslot/port} mac-schedule [n]
Note In previous releases, information for the MAC scheduler was displayed using the show interface cable
and show interface cable upstream commands. In Cisco IOS Release 12.2 BC, the MAC scheduler
information is moved to this command.
Defaults If no upstream port identified, displays information for all upstreams on the specified cable interface.
Command Modes Privileged EXEC
Command History
slot/port Identifies the cable interface and downstream port on the Cisco uBR7100
series and Cisco uBR7200 series routers.
On the Cisco uBR7100 series router, the only valid value is 1/0. On the
Cisco uBR7200 series router, slot can range from 3 to 6, and port can be 0
or 1, depending on the cable interface.
slot/subslot/port Identifies the cable interface on the Cisco uBR10012 router. The following
are the valid values:
slot = 5 to 8
subslot = 0 or 1
port = 0 to 4 (depending on the cable interface)
n (Optional) Displays information for the indicated upstream port. Valid
values start with 0 for the first upstream port on the cable interface line card.
Release Modification
12.1(4)CX This command was introduced. (Much of the information shown in this
command was previously shown by the show interface cable and show
interface cable upstream commands.)
12.2(4)BC1 Support was added to the Release 12.2 BC train.
Examples The following example shows typical output for upstream port 0 on the indicated cable interface:
Router# show interface c3/0 mac-schedule 0
DOCSIS 1.1 MAC scheduler for Cable3/0/U0
